I’m Tess Belke (she/her), a surface designer from a small town nestled next to the North Saskatchewan River in Alberta, Canada. I live in a cozy home with my husband and two little girls, Molly and Alex, who I named Almo Studio after.

After years of working at design agencies I made the move from branding and marketing to surface design and art licensing. Since starting Almo Studio in 2022 I have had my work licensed by brands of all sizes on a variety of products. You can find my artwork worldwide on products such as fabric, stationery, cloth diapers and even beer cans!

I love to work with small brands and family-run businesses, companies that value sustainability and ethical business practices and brands with a focus on inclusion.

My work is influenced by my graphic design background, a deep love of handmade and vintage, and the time spent with my two little girls. I strive to create pieces that bring a little bit of magic to your home and life, making every day a tiny bit cozier, cuter and just a little bit more special.
